Shortly after we got engaged, someone (our moms) mentioned that we would have to think about registering. It didn’t seem that hard, so we figured that we could start by taking an inventory of what we already have for our future home. As you can see from the list below, we are pretty well stocked… and even overstocked on some items:

2 Blenders

2 Stand mixers

2 Hand mixers

3 Crock pots

3 Microwaves

3 Popcorn poppers

3 Toasters

3 Coffee pots

1 Gas grill

12 Place settings

1 Complete set of flatware

1 Complete set of china

1 Plethora of cooking pots and utensils

2 Hair dryers

3 Vacuums

1 Table saw

1 Lawn mower

1 Snow blower

1 Weed trimmer

Etc…

It became very clear to us that we already have many of the homemaking things that we might need. Then we took a good look in the bedroom and realized what was missing…

FURNITURE!!

What we really need is a place to sleep.

We even found something that we really like:

So, even though Emily Post would shudder, our heartfelt request is that our family and friends help us by making wedding gifts in the form of contributions to our new bedroom.
